* READ INSTALLATION CAREFULLY AND ALL (NOTE:)'s *
* *
* NOTE: *
* DoSound uses Muirexx and Play16 both of which are copyrighted. *
* *
* Muirexx is an exceptional program by Russell Leighton. Muirexx *
* is easy to learn and to use. I recommend it to anyone that wants *
* to develop an application. Without Muirexx DoSound would not *
* exist. Please read the Muirexx.readme. *
* *
* Play16 is probably the most used sound player used on the internet *
* for the Amiga. It is an excellent program and DoSound needs it *
* to play wavs on the workbench. Please read the Play16.readme *
* for a look at all the possibilities and sound formats. *

INSTALLATION:
Copy c: to sys:c (SPECIAL NOTE: in this directory is a newer version of
muirexx so use it. ALSO: there are 2 play16 version 1.7
in the archive. One is accelerated version. Use the one
you need. If that one is play16 020 then rename it to
Play16.)
Copy libs: to sys:libs NOTHING NEW IN HERE SINCE V2.0
Copy fonts: to sys:fonts (I use this font/9 for listing. keeps things small, but
you don't have to)
Copy DoSound drawer and DoSound.info to AMIRC drawer.
Copy AMIRC:rexx to AMIRC:rexx
Make an AMIRC button for sounds and /rx DoSound.amirx
NOTE: You should have Sounds: assigned to your sound drawer ie: assign sounds:
amirc:sounds or assign sounds: dh0:amirc/sounds
SPECIAL NOTE: Starting with v2.7 the assigned REXX: (usually sys:s) is not used.
if you have previously used earlier versions of DoSound please delete the
following from that directory.
buildsound.amirx
dogetsound.amirx
dosound.amirx
getsfile.amirx
wbdosound.amirx
Also if you have previously used DoSound from the workbench please delete
WBDoSound and WBDoSound.info from where ever you have it. To use DoSound
as a wav player from the WB, Do one of the following.
option A: Open AMIRC:DoSound drawer and click on WBDoSound icon.
(For ease of use leave icon out on Workbench)
option B: Place DoSound drawer and DoSound.info where ever you would
like and use from there by clicking on WBDoSound icon.
(Again for ease of use leave icon out on WB)

At bottom of window in center is a pop bar that duplicates
the more commonly used menu items listed below.
Bottom of pop bar menu:
Starting with v2.8 there is a switch to turn Auto Get and Auto Send
on or off from the front panel. (NOTE: This is a temproary switching
that does not change your normal program settings.) Also below the
switches is a toggle button that will turn the use of ctcp getsound
on or off along with an indicator to show the state. (NOTE: This
will only work if Auto Get is on since the operator gives you separate
choices already for delayed sound retreaval.) This was done so you
can Auto Get more conveniently from a channel with mostly mirc users.
